This is a lovely rhyming poem for children of all ages! The rhyme and rhythm flows naturally and smoothly. The imagery of harvesting in the fall comes loud and clear. And creates anticipation for what is next. Perfect entry. Love the artwork as well.

Hello Writer,
You've opened the lid of that magical box for young and old alike.
Love that cornfield with the eavesdroping ears,
the bright moonbeams and gryphon eggs.
The only thing you need is six stars to guide the way.
Perfect art work to match.
Well done.
You have a style that stands out.
Best wishes.

Children are the cure for all that ails us! They find joy in the tiniest things, their awe and wonder at something as tiny as a snowflake cannot help but bring a bit of innocence to our own hearts! This is absolutely beautiful...beautifully rhymed and metered. A reminder of what lives within each of us! Good luck in the contest!--Karenina

A fun story about the magical change between summer and fun stuff you do in the fall. Then off to look forward to the fun that winter brings.
Nice kid's poem. Good luck with the contest!

This is a fun autumn read with the reference to leaves, pumpkin patch, gryphons, and magical ears of corn. I suspect an analogy between grown up ears and human grown up ears, and littler ears being able to imagine all the possibilities of moonbeams and seasonal delights.

This children's rhyming poem, Winter Preparations, presented in six, tetrameter, AABBCC-rhymed sestets, brings the magic of imagination into full force as nature's bounty becomes fun fantasy.

This is a fun poem about getting ready for winter. It shows all things you can do from Halloween on. If you live near any mountains your pet gryphon can live their and easily fly to your yard. Or you can all go live in caves in the hills. I like the puns with ears of corn.
Good luck with the prompt.
Keep writing and stay healthly.

Very good. A solid story about magic and mythical beast that any child will love. Technically sound with a good rhyme scheme, and a solid ending. Great supporting art work of the old time bard. Great job, good luck in the contest.
