This is beautiful! Lately, I have had to write words like this much too often as this year, so many loved ones of friends have died. You shared very empathetic words. Best to you in the contest!

Dear Mystery Author,
This is a beautiful and gentle write. It is a wonderful portrayal of empathy supporting grief.
Any of us that have grieved deeply for ( in this case) a mother- knows that the grief is deep and leaves empty for a while. But the empathy and caring of a friend.....that reminds us of Spirits caring and love is worth oh so much.
Well done and good luck in the contest.

Dear Mystery Poet,
This is a kind and sincere outreaching to someone who would have to be hurting dreadfully. I can't even imagine the day when my mom is gone!
I thought this was well composed and kind, as it reveals your kind heart. I only have a small suggestion - which you are welcome to ignore. *smile*
--> No doubt, your mom received His Special Blessing and the foundation she built is strong.
--> No doubt, your mom received His Special Blessing.
If you consider this edit, I think it would put a bit more powerful punch to the end of this important statement AND you have already commented on the strong foundation she gave so that is a bit repetitive.
Thanks and good luck~

Indeed, mothers are very special, particularly to children, and the Lord surely recognises this, it is "mother" heart of God, both male and female propensities, exist in the one person, that's why we need unity between males and females. Well done, good luck blessings Roy

Hello anon, you have written a perfect poem that succeeds in portraying both empathy and grief perfectly. Losing a mother is an unbearable grief and the empathy and good advice you give in this poem is perfect. Your words are lovely and sound very comforting and reassuring that the mother is always with the bereaved. Beautifully written - good luck and warm wishes Dorothy x

Such a quietly soothing poem...affirming love and faith and accepting the daughter for right where she is in her grieving process. So many feel the need to say "Buck up"--or "She's at peace now." Losing a loved one is pain...and pain takes it's own time to heal. Touching!--Karenina

A very well-written letter to a daughter who suffers grief for a mother who are not there was any longer. No one can take the pain and suffering away but it feels great to be comforted in our grieving time.

Beautifully written empathy poem. As Jesus loves his own mother , he welcomes and gives mothers a special blessing. This special blessing is given to mothers for their sacrifices and love for their children. Well done. Very beautifully heavenly looking photo.
