Yes life as a kid would be much different now if we were to go back and experience it all over again, but mind you, that was part of being a kid in the first place, knowing so little and yet having a great time.
well done

Good job! I like that the entire piece is one sentence, one flowing thought, & not pieces of thoughts broken up by lines or syllables. I like the imagery, too.

Interesting poem that meets all strictures. Imagining the unborn fetus (shining sweet full moon) and what the baby will look like when birthed (once out of the cocoon).
Well done. Evocative imagery sets the mind ablaze with anticipation.

I'm right there with you on this. I realize how sheltered I was as a child and why my parents did it. It would be fun to go back to the days when the world looked all bright and shiny. Nice job pulling the emotion out of your words.+

Really, REALLY liked this work. You have expressed beautifully what the majority of us wish for: to get back to a time of possibilities!

Anupam,
Once we are out of the cocoon, we can never go back to that place where we don't know the things we know and have experienced. The idea to be able to go back there to that innocent place can be desirable.
Excellent 5/7/5 poem.
