I am totally there with you! you expressed God so well and the need to separate oneself from supersition. Indeed, if something does happen under superstious stars, all we need to do is ask Gods what we could have done instead ... or how He was taking this forward and promoting it to others.
Anxiety gets the best of so many people!
great poem!

i loved the matter of fact way in which you tried to convey the fact that we should all start living our lives instead of worrying about superstitions. But some people will always cling on to the old ways. Some people don't even like you mentioning Jesus.... I find the way around this is to maybe mention a 'higher power' instead. angela59

Very nice poem about faith. I happen to be a big believer in LUCK, but not in things that are supposed to bring it. Stuff happens or it doesn't. Sometimes luck is BAD luck and sometimes it is GOOD luck. But we are all swimming in a sea of it every day. :)

I second this wholeheartedly. See my faith poem of today. Pleased to see you back and whatever it was before this free verse is not bad at all.

This is well written free verse. I like how you list all the superstitions that people believe. I feel that there is no harm in believing in 'luck' if you don't let it dominate your life and cost you anything.Good job
