Great kid story, Brooke! Young imaginations will eat this up, I'm sure. The rhyme and rhythm make the story more fun--kids will love it. Great job! Craig

What a wonderful story this is, Brooke, and what a great children's book this would be with the help of an illustrator to accompany your well-rhymed and fun lines. I truly enjoyed this, and I know Sawyer will someday too.

Great story in a poem... might have saved it for the next contest. Love the whole idea of a path that led back in time. So many great lines, but this is my favorite:
he wondered why horns would choose there to stick out. LOL!

Brooke,
Excellent children's story poem. I can already picture the cover for the book. The rhythm and rhyme are great and make for a wonderful read for a child.

This is a cute poem. I love those musical names you come up with Brooke. They are entertaining by their selves. I love those Jabberwockey poems too don't you? I guess it's the child within. This poem is amusing as all get out. Love the picture of Sawyer and that beast! Wonder how big they are when they are babies? Wouldn't want to meet one in real life. No sir! Good job. Nancy
