This certainly tells of the sadness and starkness of death. Only a few words but as effective any longer pieces. This should do very well in the contest.

How sad... I am sorry his life stopped today. But his life didn't end today.
I truly believe since we are made of energy, that we just change forms and go to another place. GREAT 5=7=5 form poem. Thanks, Pamela

This is very sad boom. I remember thinking almost this exact thought when my Dad passed. All his knowledge and ability gone. But then I realized that it wasn't really gone, because I would remember it. A comfort amidst tears.
