Hi John, I am very sad reading his message, you have been a great asset to this site and will be sorely missed along with your wonderful writing, but if you feel that the spark has gone there is nothing else to do, a writer must feel for his/her words or it mean nothing.

It is nice of you to share your dollars. I often take long breaks between writing. It is hard go produce consistently. Perhaps this will only be a break, not the final chapter!

Sorry to see you go, and I've been in that "place" before. I stopped writing for about three years, and then it just drifted back the way it left. We will always be here waiting, and thanks for the gift!

I will be sad to see you go. I enjoy your storytelling, especially the baseball and the kids' stories. Sorry I haven't been around much lately due to some craziness in life, and I anticipate my time reading, writing or reviewing being sparatic at best this year. There is a time and season for everything so perhaps you will be back someday with some more terrific stories.
