This poem is so perfect - Rainbow's sharp, dazzling colors
sitting atop sun-struck clouds
Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings and your inspiration.

Beautiful imagery and consonance, alliteration!
I especially like 'sharp, dazzling' 'sun-struck'
Great addition to the book! :) - good follow up to the previous theme!

Hi Debora, I love this continuation to the Renga book. It's beautiful and your 7-7 line poem has a wonderful imagery. I really liked it. ---- All best. Ulla:)))

Hello my friend

Beautiful chapter for our renga book. You followed the rules well. I like the presentation. Good syllable count.

Could you please add the following to your Author notes?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
......PLEASE COPY AND PASTE THIS PART TO YOUR AUTHOR NOTES......

Renga is a Japanese collaborative poetry form in which poets write alternating verses of 5-7-5 stanzas and 7-7 couplets wich are linked in succession by multiple poets until we reach 184 verses.

From the renga book chapter your in, click on the ADD CHAPTER icon.

Make sure you are in the last chapter of the chain of poems. You find this out by clicking on the three arrow icon at the right top corner of the post ( >>> )

If the last poem is a 5/7/5 haiku, write a 7/7 couplet, if the last poem is a 7/7 couplet write a 5/7/5 haiku. Write about the same theme but don't repeating words. If you want to see an example, you can check out other chapters in the book..

You post your poem as usual but it will be part of the book. you can edit it and add a picture if you like. A copy will go to your portfolio and you keep your reviews.

.....END OF COPY AND PASTE SECTION.....

Ooooh! I like it! Great use of alliteration and I like the powerful expression of "sun-struck clouds" as it's the sunlight striking the water particles that gives us that rainbow!

Thank you, Helen! I hoped that would 'shine' through. :) I always appreciate your sharp mind and reviews, even if you don't find errors! (Or, maybe, even more when you don't. Nah ... not more. Equally. lol)
    Be blessed this week, Helen!

Title - excellent

Unusual to see the rainbow above the clouds, and not below, clever of you to notice.

I see the colours as dazzling, no problem there. But not sharp (although this could be a problem of my eyes).

Hi Katherine! I have an eye issue, too so cannot actually SEE rainbows. Not sharp? oooppps... lol. We're going to call this poetic license, then. And, of COURSE I did it intentionally. lol
Thank you! Appreciate you reading and commenting. :)

Cool? Is that an option right now? lol. It was 102 yesterday instead of 108, so I guess we'll call that cool. lol.
Thank you for the exceptional rating for this, AJ. I appreciate you so much.
