Enchanted World
by Marjon van Bruggen

Hello, Marjon,

How nice to feel like a fairy. I like the concept of silence has a voice. I love your presentation too. Well done.

Dear Marjon, this poem has so many lovely moments, each one making me stops to favor it.

My favorite line "At dawn silence has a voice" only starts the parade of stopping places to just absorb this poem as it wanders into wonderful places.

I loved the opening. "At dawn, silence has a voice, swirls of mist subdue all colors" that creates this sense of mystery, of possibility, of endless possibilities. It is a great poem told in a personal voice about imagination and the endless expanse of it that unfolds each morning. There is a sense of hope there, that anything can happen. We can redeem ourselves again. estory

"At dawn
silence has a voice,
swirls of mist subdue all colors."
I love it! The colourful speaking morning silence is really true. It talks from the abyssal depth of our conscience and does travel on far-off desolate shores where our free spirit interweaves the best poetical wastes. Blessings. Tony

A very well-written poem about the early morning hours that are always the best time of the day. Refreshed after a good night's sleep we feel energized and the beautiful hues in the skies make it all worthwhile.

Fortunately, you dreamt and felt like a fairy in the lovely, sweet, colourful and hazy morning you did not like to wake; well said, well done; enjoyed the read; thank you for sharing this; keep writing. ALCREATOR

You have a collection of gems here: swirls of subdued colors, swirls of mist...etc. I know, mornings are the best time to allow inspiration into our hearts. I like a lot this poem.

Sometimes there are "moments" in our lives thst we would just like to soak in the warm waters of that moment, like a wonderful dream one wakes up from, and we can't go back to it, because the cold light of day prevents us. Beautifully written, thank you for this little gem. Well done Marjon, thank you for this, blessings, Roy

Marjon,
I just woke from a nap when I read your poem. I felt
what your words were saying. There is an enchanting
feeling when first being aroused from sleep. Your poem
captured the bliss of a peaceful rest.
Your poem is well written, sophisticated and promotes
wonderful imagery.
Blessings
Richie

Richie, thanks so much. But it is not true. I learned and can write classical form rhyming poetry, but it costs me blood, sweat and tears, and to me, these poems sound always somewhat forced. (Not yours!)

    Marjon,
    I agree with you on
    rhyming poems sounding forced.
    Free verse is more liberating
    for me.

I love the foggy, misty mornings too. It's enchanting. It is like a lace curtain has been draped over the world and you're in a secluded spot where magic happens. I love your poem.
