It's amazing how nature affects our peace like down by the ocean or deep in the woods in true silence. What a wonderfully written poem and I love the picture!

In my opinion, a lovely write, perfect in its depiction of the power of the ocean. I can easily relate, since I purposely live in somewhat close proximity to the ocean, for the benefit this writer has so aptly described in perfect compliance with the prompt. Best wishes in the contest...

Simply stated. Lovely picture. Good water imagery re ocean and floods. Surrender happens is a twist on the usual surrender here as noun vs verb. Keeps things fresh. Nice piece. Cheers. LIZ

This a very lovely presentation. Your little poem says a lot. It provokes my thoughts to walks on the beach in Florida and the lapping of waves I hear at night from my bedroom. It is so peaceful and calming. Well done.
