I love your simile of notes of singing Larks being like liquid gold. And the visual of notes falling is a wonderful one. Your last line is a great ending. What a gem of a photo you picked to accompany your gem of a poem.

I believe that this 5-7-5 is complete all round! The words you chose and also the theme were on point and you were able to communicate them properly by keeping the syllable count in mind! I have not heard a Lark sing but now I really do! Best wishes for the contest! :-)
