Love it. Short and sweet--not sappy! Congrats once again. I can't keep up with you, Yvette! You must have a huge shelf indeed for all your virtual trophies. Cheers. LIZ

Yvette,
This seems like a poem of mourning. It may be of the loss of love through
Alzheimer's or throuogh another dibilitating disease.
Congrats on placing second in the contest.
Keep writing

Thanx so much, DK, for your review and for your congratulations... forgiveness is one of those two-edged swords that cuts the bonds of both parties, yeah? Think the world could use a whole lot more of it rather than the 'live in vengeance' mode of social media... sigh. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!! ;) ;) Yvette

I like your poem. The rhyme is great! And I like the message you portray. I also like the message of how we communicate through touch and through thought. I really like the picture too.

Nothing is permanent, love and romantic feelings come and go, words and whispers fade but touch heart and thoughts and allure heart long; well said, well done.

Poem captures the essence that it is not words that necessarily attract two people together but actions, which as the adage says, speak much louder.
It is also through actions people demonstrate how much they care about someone else.
Especially for Valentine's Day that is the sort of feeling people enjoy the most.

Hi dear Yvette,
So true, bond is such that it outlasts the thought of, spoken or
otherwise conveyed, reunite through touch that emerge into
words yet unspoken, lingering on in perpetual connection and
communion of soul to soul. Kind of love soul mates know
and experience mutually ad infinitum.
Most profoundly summarized in this ecliptic poem and pic!
Thanks for sharing dear one!!!:) ;)

You are definitely a very busy lady, my friend!! ;) :) This one is my 'sappiness' that comes on about once third blue moon or so - LOL! :) Not a huge fan of Valentine's Day... always figured you should do things throughout the year not just when you're required to, yeah? :) Thanx for including me in your ladder-climbing! ;) Yvette
