Hi Bill. This is a very well written tribute to our dear Phyllis. She will be missed. She was talented and helpful to us all. She and I joined FanStory about the same time in 2012. Marilyn

Here, here, Bill! She was certainly someone special and one of the first to 'be there for me' when I joined a year and a half ago... :) Her sense of humor and gentle romance stories will be missed... Yvette

This is a very nice tribute to a Fanstory community member that has passed away. It's nice you were able to enjoy her work and she was helpful in her reviews of your work.

You're right. Phylis was an amazing lady as a person and a writer. I recall the story you're referring to. She did do a splendid job bringing all the characters to life. You're right, we are all blessed from having known her.

-A nice image and
tribute, Bill.
-Thanks for sharing it
and showing how you
got to appreciate Phyllis's
writing, advice, and humor.
-She would be happy to
read this, and probably
say she did a good job while here!
-I did not know her well, but
it is always difficult to lose
a member of our FS community.

Thank you for sharing your memories of Phyllis' work and the lovely photograph. The example you related certainly does covey her talent as a writer. She will certainly be missed, but her contributions will live on. Warm regards- Joan

Totally agree! I remember that Victorian romance story, too! She and I had lots of discussions about what possible foods would a British farmer of that time would eat etc. I learned about the clothing details from her. Thanks for this great tribute and for reminding me of that book which she didn't publish.
