Hey, Sparrow, you got a minute to spare with an old friend just hanging in there? Wish I could talk to my friends with your flair so debonair. I'm sure God heard you, LisaMay. I believes He reads your writings and He forgives you for all the boyfriends you have had. Have a beautiful day. :)

I am pleased to hear that you think God will forgive me for my chequered past in the game of romance. Some of my 'boyfriends' won't!

Hello mystery writer. Clearly you have placed your essay as a conversational prayer. There is a formal prayer when I also engaging conversational prayer with him. It is what is truly on my heart when I pray. I wish you good luck in the contest.

I like this talk with God that you've penned here. You've constructed it in such a way that it sounds like your talking to a friend. He's not only our God and the King and Lord of all, but, He is indeed our friend. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

Thanks for your review. God and I have quite a few chats, so I am on chummy terms with him; with no disrespect.

I love this warm, intensely personal, slightly offbeat conversation with God. God has heard and will respond to you, personally, whatever your situation is. Amen!

I trust in the Lord. I've always felt He has a sense of humour so I wrote this in an informal, friendly style.
Thanks for reviewing.

It was my pleasure. You're welcome.

thats simple and beautiful and that you
asked for help for others and didn't get selfish
well done I would say. Almost heart felt.
But you only skimmed the surface. Sometimes thats
best again well done.

Thanks for your review Tim. I did not want to load God down with a lengthy letter - or readers with a long story.
I think God would appreciate a sense of humour from time to time so I didn't want to start whining.

This is a lovely letter to God, my friend. It is sweet that you are worried about Him rather than the other way around, as it usually is. Best wishes in the contest, my friend~Debbie
