Halloween is an American tradition but I have notice that even in my country the younger generation celebrate it.
In all honesty , I'm happy in our town some kids might dress up but they don't go door to door asking for treats.
Your poem is delightful and it rhymes well. It 's a great read for kids and adults that look back to their childhood with nostalgia.
Every February we have Carnevale .. People have fun dressing up .. the most famous event is the Venice Carnevale , tourist from all over the world come to see the city in jewelled costumes.
I wrote a 5-7-5 and provided a video on the event in my portfolio ..

Adorable little poem for children to read bringing out the goodness that is within the cute little witches on Halloween. Loved the rhyming sequence of
"Although I'm pale and my sister is green
We're friendly witches...we're kind not mean."
Nicely done!

This is a very cute poem with many catchy phrases. The concept is original and the picture you selected to go with it is striking and appropriate. Keep writing.
