I love the positive and hopeful essence of this poem. You express the beauty of Heaven with sweet word choices! I hope Heaven is full of candy like delights. Yours sounds like an incredible place to be! xoxo

After reading eight chapters in the book.
About a Minister who had a frontal with a Tractor trailer and should have been dead.
Whom instead, wound up in Heaven for a slight visit.
His description of certain things...
Like all the Angels singing in unison...
This is where I started to get the perception of it.
Thanks,
Ricky

We all, in due time, will meet our maker. I will remember your vision of heaven and I'll hunt you down if it is a lessor dream. lol keep your imagination alive and well, and sharing it with your fanstorian friends.

Comment from Gloria ....
You have some wonderful imagery in this chapter Doctor Ricky. The leaves as sprinkles of Heavenly delight creates a nice image as do the mountains of purple majesty.
A most uplifting read today and many thanks for sharing. :)

It sounds like there suicide attempts before, but this time he made it to heaven, not returning to the "hell" that he felt was his life. Your son's mentally-ill friend? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I love his discovery of what heaven is like.

my son passed away March 31st 2003 8 months later on November 26th my wife committed suicide by stopping a medication having two heart attacks.
I want to listen to fear. Depression for two and a half years and I thought I beat it until December 1st 2006 when I attempted suicide three times with a kitchen knife to my heart in my neck and then I took a bottle of depakote the only reason I called nine-one-one cuz I was bleeding internally and hit the heart valve is cuz my ex-girlfriend called she was coming over and she should could have seen the mess that I wish she had a bad heart already she would have had a heart attack.
Thanks,

Wow, I'm glad for our sakes that God spared you and kept you here with us. Thanks for your honesty.
Just this morning I was reading the Bible verses that suffering brings about endurance and ultimately hope. Thank you for showing us some of that hope arising out of suffering.

Hello Ricky. I will comment on the content of your poem. The words I have focused on are the following: "I haven't seen a sign or clue of any pain just delight!" I certainly see the promise of that statement. The Bible promises God will wipe every tear from our eyes. Robert

I like your view if Heaven. I've never imagined it with ice cream and sprinkles before. Those are some of my favorite things. I don't know about that, but I'm sure your son is in a wonderful place and you will see him again when the time is right.

Hi Ricky, I understand your pain from the loss of your son. A pain that will never leave you alone. I know it seems inconceivable that it should have ever happened. Kind regards. Ulla:))

Wow -- such a beautiful picture of creation you have painted for us... the purple mountain majesty and the pearl white beaches... but my favorite? "Cotton-Candied Sprinkles come down and coats your hands" ... just wonderful! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Hi Doc, it has been a good while since I was active here. I have always enjoyed your writing. My heart aches for you, and I am so sorry for your loss.
This was a good read but I think there may be a couple punctuation errors. I think this is more than one sentence. - "I'm coming to their garden now because I want to see the crop I hear it's quite Maury is here I'm going to harvest and never stop!" I question "Maury". This last part makes no sense to me. Perhaps a comma after "crop" and a period after "quite". But then I ask, who is Maury?
Overall a good read. Thank you for sharing Doc.
