This is a celebration of someone who has a close relationship to God. I do envy you because it's not the way I feel but wish I did. I have a lot of questions and often wonder why my prayers go unanswered. Thank you for sharing.

Those are the longest sentences I've ever read, it's mostly a prayer. No one can really judge your relationship with God, because it is what it is. Thanks for sharing your deepest feelings.

We must trust in God and carry on leading a righteous life. We should not wish ill for others out of greed and manipulate fellow brethren. We should just trust Him and allow Him to lead us. He knows best when to open and when to shut doors. Much enjoyed your poem. Thanks for sharing!

Your relationship to God is evident and inspiring! I appreciate your notes... We all may have different perceptions of our spiritual relationship with our Creator...you are careful to express yours while not disparaging any other. I know in my heart that what I may have felt were unanswered prayers were, on fact, God knowing what is best!--Karenina

Yes, our God knew our needs for today even before we were knit in our mother's womb. There is something so very soothing about that very statement, isn't it? He knows my name - He knows my needs. Thanks for sharing.

I think you are such a good person, and trust in the Lord so wholeheartedly, that when He doesn't answer your prayers in the way you hoped, you still thank Him for your life and know that he has a purpose for you. You are truly an exceptional man. Bless you.

Because we all walk down different paths of life, we too find our prayers and beliefs to be different as well. And only the Lord sees what we truly feel and believe deep inside and only he can choose what way our prayers will be answered. He hears everyone of them, but chooses his answer which doesn't always fit what we expected. The Lord is good and kind and he will bless us with what each of us needs. Smiles, Carol

Yes, I have noticed too, that God does not always answer the prayers in the way we want, but always in the way he sees fit. This is evidence of the omniscient presence of our Lord. Thank you for sharing this. Have a great weekend. Hugs and blessings to you.
