Great job on this Beethoven challenge using Yvette's Even the Odds poetic form! It's nicely shaped and gives us a deeper message about how it takes time and maturity to appreciate music and life. Love the quartet and choral part of the symphony.

I really like your poem and references to Beethoven. My husband was a classical music guy and listened to all the great composers. We used to go to the opera in NYC each year. Very special music. Good job with your contest entry. Marilyn

Yvette's form continues to bring us joy also. You did a wonderful job with this poem. Beethoven is one of my very favorite composers...his music thrills the heart and soothes the soul. Ode to Joy makes me want to dance my way to heaven!!

A very well-written even the odds poem and the subject of beethoven's ode to joy. At first not well-liked but it is today one of his most popular pieces for befinners to play on the piano.
