Nice to read this Phyllis. Despite the differences in dandelions, there was a mutual respect, and there can be no better than that.
I enjoyed this one with the different variations.
Nicely respectful.
My very best to you.
Have a good day.

Hi Phyllis, this is such a touching tribute to Brooke. I so regret that I never got to know her. I joined the site a few months before she fell ill and then it was too lat. Your piece brought tears to my eyes. Ulla xx

Thanks, Ulla. We've lost many members since I joined seven years ago. But then most of us are older.

This is a very nice tribute to Brooke. I would write one but I have no idea how to attach it to the book. She was a wonderful teacher and always had a kind word for everyone. I thought she would be back too, but I guess it was not to be. We were lucky to get to know her. Well done. Nancy:)

Thanks, Nancy. Go to my tribute and find "multi-author book" down by the ratings and other links. Click it and the window comes up. Easy. :)

Very well done, and the examples are well chosen of her work. Not much I'd add to your salute. I have often wondered if "make your life your prayer" is not automatic, and He sits up there thinking, "Hush. What you are drowns out every word you say!"

Thanks, Red. I hope I'm honest about who I am. I'm a terrible actress, so I guess I have no choice. :)

Great story and sharing of Brooke's poems. I thought I had reviewed this before but maybe not. Well done and I loved all the artwork and layout. FS says I have not said enough, why am I not surprised?

Thanks, Geoff. I really appreciate the six stars, although I'll have to share them with Brooke. :)

From what I've read, I'd say Brooke had life figured out. The how to find true happiness. It is the simple things within the lines of her poems she placed priority on. Family, friends, nature, prayer, embracing life itself to the fullest, not manmade fleeting things. Your writing this chapter proved it to me. Live every day with the same passion you had on your first day of life, and as if it is your last day of life.

Thanks so much. Yes, she did, and her work showed it. We learned a lot from her.

Wow! I started a year after Brooke left so I didn't know her. So many urge us to look up her portfolio but I'm so behind in reviewing that it's tough. You helped so much by including a few of your favorites. Thanks, Phyllis!

Thanks, Helen. We've lost several members to age and illness since I've been here.

So did you know Portia Harp? Or do you know what happened to MysticAngel (Monica)?
-
Monica is just gone. Didn't know Portia.

Wow, Phyllis -- I have read so many different tributes in so many different styles...they are certainly a tribute to the array of people here on FS that Brooke touched. Her family will be blessed to have such a collection. :) Thanx for sharing with those of us who did not have the pleasure of knowing her! ;)

Thanks, Yvette. We have lost several members since I have been here (2012). Friends no longer have to sit beside you... our friends can be on a site like FS and others. The world has changed so much since I was a child, mostly for the better, I think. I'll always be thankful I knew Brooke. :)
