Wasps are a menace and they bite, but more dangerous are the yellow jacketake when one bites they all come and sting in groups. Melissa you wrote something out of the blue and it is quite good. Thank you for being who you are.

I guess we all feel that way, especially those of us who are allergic to the sting. I'm more inclined to have low tolerance for mosquitoes. Last summer they were a nightmare due to a soggy spring. Well worded and rhymed. Marilyn

Good one! Yes those pesky bugs! Wasp are scary and I remember once when one came inside and was on the screen of my door! I sprayed it with a cleaning solution so it wouldn't fly away and then squeezed it with a paper towel and juice came out of it so I thought it was dead. . .but it was still alive!! So I knew it was no doubt mad at me and somehow I captured it and tossed it outside. Yikes! Thanks for bringing that memory back to me - not! LOL!

This is cute! We went to one of the piers that we like to adventure to every once in a while. Unfortunately, the noseums ( no see em's) are everywhere. They are little flying teeth as we call them in the south. They were attacking us so we ended up leaving sooner rather than later. This picture reminded me of our outing yesterday. lol Happy Writing, katy

A very well-written rhyming poem. Flies are a real pest that is hard to get rid of them. They are too quick for the squatter and will fly away before you are ready to end their lives.

I's best not to make any tennis moves with a wasp, they win every time and their sting will knock you down! LOL
Fun post, apt picture and lovely rhymes.
Well done Melissa. Nancy

I understand this poem and the meaning. The old saying leave them alone and they will leave you alone, I'm not sure of. Good poem I find no fault. Thanks for sharing.

This is interesting because I dreamed last night that I was walking upstairs and into a room filled with tarantulas. Much worse than a single wasp. Sometimes those pests are hard to get rid of. Excellent rhyme and flow in this. Shows the fruitlessness of the attempt to get rid of the critter. Some of them are difficult. judi
