Your chosen artwork only adds to the poem (in an exceptional way, of course), but your 5-7-5 poem would still be genius without any artwork.
I believe many of us can relate to your statement. I'm ADD, too, but I can say the older I get, the harder it gets to remember anything after the least bit of distraction. I've had thoughts about inventing waterproof paper and pencil just for the shower. By the time I step out, all the brilliant ideas and rhyme I had must have washed down the drain.
I really enjoyed this, seriously; it is the perfect contest entry, and I truly wish you all the very best, for you are deserving.
