Invariably, we are also like the comic whose jokes (and our lives) make no cents (or the spiritual sense that leaves us filled not empty). I love your play on the comical side to emphasize the spiritual. Keep an open mind so God can fill you up with knowledge that the common man will understand. I look forward to reading more of your inspirational work. Remember: exhort Him and He will exhort yoy!!!

This speaks irony of a comedian's life in a humour, clever answer given that his jokes did not make cents so he went bankrupt; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

Funny joke and good answer. All in a poem. Well said. Educational too when you think about it. Creativity can help the comedian grow and find a solution to get some cents.

Question:
"Why did the comedian go bankrupt?"

Answer:
Because his jokes made no cents."
Why because he was being repeated so he could not make money because people didn't attend his performances

This poem was corny, but aren't most riddles and puns? On the other hand, it was cute and made its point, and the picture of the sad clown added to the image you were going for. Very, very minor point: Put a quotation mark before your answer.
