Fun puns and wordplay in this first of your Lobster series. He looks more like a robo lobster than a mobster lobster. And then there's the pun of 'Maine' which is famous for lobsters.

Hooray!! Crustaceans are on the rise in LobsterWorld -- can't wait for more!! :) :) So, is Claud the mob boss or is he the hitman! :) :)
Thank you for the smile today, sir, and have a one yourself! :)

I like your rhyme of mobster and lobster. Neat little bit with Maine and main, too. I never put thought into the possibility of lobsters having gangs. If anyone double-crossed them, they could really put their claws into him. The picture really goes great with your gangster idea. judi

LOL. Love the play on words.
Claude the Big Claw sounds quite the gangster type. Great picture to go along with the image. This opens up a whole new world of mafia.

This is a very cute and well written 5-7-5 poem about Claud the big claw crustacean. You used very cute words and very cute imagery from the art work. It was a very fun read. I don't remember ever eating any lobster, even though my husband said I did! lol oh well. Blessings, Teri

Good job on this one, Bill. I like the play on the word clawed--Claud/ main--Maine/ & the rhyme mobster/lobster & great image. Well, that's about the whole poem. I liked it! Thanks for sharing. Jan

You are having a lot of fun here, Bill, in both characterizing this lobster and playing with words and rhymes. Delightful use of assonance and alliteration in line two.
