Thank you so much. I forgot I'd written it. After the next chap coming up is the time Scruffles announced he is ready to walk the path to the bridge. It was very sad to write. Bea & Sweet Puppy will draw the reader in to identify with the long complicated grieving process. I will be posting it in the near future.

Yes, Scruffle, my Maine Coon cat passed many years ago & I have made him famous in my published book, Be Wee With Bea. Yes, Sweet Puppy misses "Baby Brother". It was very difficult to write the original chapter in my part 2 book. I sobbed. It was very healing. He was 18 and now Sweet Puppy is 16...she has to last forever. Thank you.

Very touching. Conveys a lot of emotion. Even people who have never lost a fur-baby will be able to feel the pain. Well written.
Wonderful poem for the prompt.
I didn't notice any spelling or grammar errors.

This is an excellent entry in the Rainbow Writing Prompt contest. A beautiful poem about a Maine Coon friend on his last journey and after his last favorite meal. His path was softened by it's carpet of pine needles and the smell of catnip. Well done.

It certainly has pretty tones and sweet images as the cat makes his way across the bridge to get to the rainbows.
Skilfully written with no mistakes in grammar or word usage.

This poetry is the next level of my imagination, the way you put your words into the beautiful array of strings in the most beautiful appropriate way vibrated my heart for seconds. The end is dope Mr.Liz o'neill

A beautiful piece filled with memories happy and sad. The journey of our fury family from inclusion to passing.
The detailed description of sights and sounds paint an emotive piece that resonates across the broad spectrum of readers.
The formation of the poem is easy to read and enjoy.

Hello Liz, I enjoyed the story of the poem. You've woven the rainbow in very effectively, finishing with such a wonderful image that we've all seen at one time or another, I imagine this will have wide appeal and thanks for sharing your writing, Ana.

This is a very well written, beautiful poem about a rainbow. You told a story in a poem and used very good descriptive words and lovely art work. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this. It made me think of a cat that we kind of adopted that would come around our house. He has been missing for 3 days now. It makes me so sad I feel like crying! Great job! Blessings, Teri

This poem about rainbows, A Bridge of Rainbows, is ultimately a sad and glorious tale of that last walk to eternity. Putting us in the cat's mind and the owner's allows us to feel the guilt, loss, struggle, and sweet end for the damaged, saved, and rejected feline.

Thank you for your inciteful review...it is 2nd in the voting so far. I would say you really got the intensity of it about my cat, dog & me. It is a part of the 2nd vol on a series of Be Wee With Bea.
