Funny, and presented in precise 5-7-5 syllable count. Great last line with the Moby reference. Poor Ahab was just compelled to do what he did. He had to get Moby Dick. The whale wasn't too fond of Ahab either. Quite a feud going on there. It made a whale of a tale, though. judi

Hi Bill, so now we're into whales. I loved this one. Whales are incredible mammals. I've always been fascinated with them. I enjoyed your fun poem, All the best. Ulla:)))

Ah a new series with a very interesting subject and to start the most famous whale of all time-makes perfect sense. Clever and a corny joke-just the way I like 'em-haha.

Wow! This is one whale of a tale. Happy to see that you are up to the task. I am surprised to see that you did not feel dwarfed by the enormous task of writing about such a large subject. LOL.

I always feel sorry for the whale. He was in his own home, and man came looking for him.
Lovely presentation. A subject I really enjoy. I once adopted a whale, but after a few years, she died.

I can?t imagine the size of the fish bowl (humor...hope you?re over its passage).
-
That's funny. LOL
They sent me maps of where she was and what she was doing. After a while, she disappeared and it's assumed she died. She was already old when I adopted her. If I'd had a big enough bowl, I'd have brought her home. lol

Ha, great pun, Billy. Moby was wrong, but Ahab beat him, and you got to write a fun poem, and Melville got to write an entire novel.
Great good fun. :)
