Wow! Congratulations on the win! Well deserved.
I loved the humor - every one must have a car salesman horror story. But then I keep wondering about the motive and you give the reader the understanding as to why the narrator has this particular need for revenge. Well told.

This is a great story and congratulations on the well deserved win. I enjoyed reading it and liked the way the explanation was left until right at the end. This is great and thank you for sharing.

WHOA! You have my thumbs up, and you are in 1st place by yourself, now. What a shocking way to take revenge for the salesman selling woman's daughter a faulty vehicle causing her to crash in the car. This woman really did that salesman in. This ending was unexpected and serious. WELL DONE. liberty justice

That was an awesome revenge story, with such a rich motivation behind it. Good job in telling a complete story in such a limited amount of words. Good luck in the contest.

This is a very good entry in the Best Served Cold flash fiction about revenge. What a devious mind you have! Good job keeping the story flowing and holding the readers interest in just why she was out to get this slime ball. Parents could relate to the need to seek revenge after the death of a child. The picture you chose fits your story perfectly. Best of luck in the competition!

Thanks so much...especially for the devious mind part-haha. There's just something about a revenge story that lets off a little steam. I did love the pic-appreciate your read and great review.

Wow. Fabulous story. I was gripped. What a fantastic entry for the revenge contest. I loved the way you didn't reveal why you were doing this until the very end. SPOT ON!
Best wishes and good luck. Jen.

Hi there,
I was with this right up until the final couple of paragraphs when logic and believability started to get stretched just a bit too much.
You may wish to consider a mild warning for language. people tend to get a funny about no warnings on posts.
that and the fact I had seen the last drip from the severed brake line in the rear-view window. - that's not really believable.
I released my seat belt - seatbelt can be a single word here.
I released my seat belt and his, in one swift motion. - again this doesn't really work thinking about the mechanics. It can't be done in one swift motion.
hoped the second shriek was him discovering his door would not unlock. - there is no indication in the story that this had been tampered with and couldn't be done from the outside of the vehicle. (early it says the passenger was underneath.
I could feel the heat on my face from the fire - from 100 feet away? Must have been some fire.

This is really, really good. I am impressed. I knew something was coming, but not what, or why, and you answered both awesomely. I love the revenge and wish, in that real scenario, something better could be done. Nice job.

This is a terrific autobiographical account of an understandably horrific revenge murder. It took a lot of hate and a of of guts to pull it off. And a lot of sadism.
(I didn't know you can do FS in the slammer.)

Ha-thanks much I must say revenge stories are a favorite of mine-guess it helps some to get what's coming to them in a less destructive way. Lucky you didn't give me a bad review-heh, heh, heh.
