OH yes eye candy. This is so cute and it does resemble a few that I know personally as really stuck on themselves and rightly so.lol

A very well-written poem inspired by the Muse. It's always good to take a break from our normal routine and just allows creativity to flow naturally from the pen to paper.

Thanks for the kind words, Sandra. Much appreciated. They do say a change is as good as a holiday! - Craig.
Comment from Gloria ....
This is great, good fun, Craig. I'm mean there's no point in continuing to hide the fact of your studmuffinism. And there is your new word right there.
What the heck is a guy supposed to do when he's a hunk and all the ladies keep throwing themselves at him? ;-)
Quite enjoyed this.

I tried to keep it a secret, Gloria - but the truth has a way of surfacing! Thanks for the fun review. Craig

That guy looks like a military man... one of the elite seals or berets. The set of his jaw says all I need to know. I'd steer clear of anyone so perfect, because he's looking for matching perfection, and I'd just disappoint him.
Great picture, and good poem too... did you write it about your own humility? ;)

MY humility, Phyllis? Why, I'm the most humble person I know! (I'd like to take credit for that line, but I actually - no word of a lie - had someone throw that at me in an argument LOL)

Haha! I watched the video first as I felt the need to start my day with music. I enjoy Carly Simon's music. I enjoyed your poem and picture as a combination. I think it would be fun to drive around in a monster truck. That's so much more eye catching these days.

My first car was a Honda Life - 2 cylinder, 600 CC. It had about as much get up and go as a sewing machine on wheels. So obviously, I speak from experience ;-)
Thanks, Joy :) - Craig

Yep, this "studmuffin" really thinks he's doing all women a great big favor, and that they should feel honored to be one of his many women ... lol. "I'll bet I've saved more people's lives than you." ... is my favorite line. He begrudges any man smarter than he is, hence the "accountant" "cooking the books" comment. He believes he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
This is a fun, fun poem, Craig, and we gotta go where our muse takes us. Yes, you can teach us a new (albeit archaic) word tomorrow. :) I enjoyed waking up to your fun write this morning. ~~ Connie

Thanks for lovely comments, Connie. It's a curse we studmuffins just have to bear lol

Guess you'll just have to grin and bear it. :)

Craig, This is a very cute poem you have penned. It is not your nomal type of writing though. You used very cute wording and imagery from your words. Blessings, Teri

CD Richards, well the first thing that came to mind was...where do I get me one of those man candy from? He may be full of self love but he can put out my fire any time. I'll stop there as this review is getting weird :-) Thanks for sharing this enjoyable poem. ~DD

This speaks a general request, not to hate the speaker but it is good to make effort of understanding the person; well said, well done. Keep writing. DR ALCREATOR
