Love the alliterations you used in the stanzas. Excellent winter imagery. Nice iambic tetrameter. The alternating rhyme works very well. I felt the chill. Well done!

    I have to confess I live on the far north east coast of NSW Australia
    and summer is just a couple of weeks away. It's currently a little cool
    With rain showers and storms about
    I wrote this poem in winter but I've been off site a lot completing courses so have only just posted it.
    I have not seen or experienced snow so I will be thinking of you this season.

A very well-written poem about winter and its beauty and its cold that we rather stay indoors than to roam outside. A chimney fire will keep us warm and cozy while the winter winds blow.

A great poem- I pondered for some time, and probably should have given it a six. My apologies for not doing that. Autumn and Winter are two of my favourite seasons, and your description was delightful, and gave me a strong sense of nostalgia!
