Bill, This is a very interesting poem about the fly. They are nasty and aggravating. Just ask our cats! When one wanders in the house they go crazy trying to catch it! Very good wording and imagery (even though yucky!) lol Teri

Congratulations on contributing the grossest submission of the day. That flys do such disgusting things before consuming even grosser things and then have the nerve to attempt to alight on what I'm about to eat. Fills me with silent and sometimes not so silent rage. I say to hell with the whole species.

Bill, only you can make a fly's life seems so exciting. I must admit, this poem is so hilarious, especially the line about the dog's droppings. Oh mg God, that line gave me such a chuckle.

I am enjoying the fly series aI much as I enjoyed the Ned's series. By the way, I can't remember the name of Ned's partner.

There's not much you can say good about a fly, is there? I guess they serve their purpose as food for other creatures, but that's the only purpose I see they have. But who am I to judge? 8-)
