Your poem may be worth of its six star rating - I'm not the best to judge as poetry is not my specialisation - however, I think the idea of this competition was that every entry used the flower image given in the remit. This, you have not done?

This union seems set fair. Let us hope for it. It has managed a gold medal so far so that has to be good going. Not many manage that these days. The only question I would ask of this is whether it covers the contest requirements which are to write about falling in love. Perhaps this is more about being in love although these lines may be considered close enough to cover it.

"The minute our eyes met, I was smitten
Intrigued, by you, the love bug was bitten
Our first kiss I knew that you were mine"

If that isn't falling I don't know what is.
