Nice play on words, 'Graani'. This naani has the required word limit and is fun to include in a collection of poems that those grandkids can read twenty years from and know that they were loved.

I can relate to your poem or should I say that feeling.
The first time I became a Nanny I had mixed emotion would you believe guilt
I've a grandma for many year and now I must surrender my title to my daughter who is was a grandma for the first time
I saw the same glow and on her face, that sparkle in her eyes. Them I realize being a Nanny is another great blessing God granted me to see.

Hi Cookie, Yes I was 52 when I became a grandmother and I can still recall the day of her birth it was thrilling but a bit daunting also all of a sudden there is another generation and make one sit back and take notice then there were 3 more (all girls from my daughter), but I love it and they are all so special.
