I am sure Frankie wasn't too pleased. Cute picture, lovely cat. Well written story within the word constraints of the contest. One thing, title should read, Frankie's Adventure. Good luck in the contest. faye

Poor Frankie. That cat will never react the same way around suitcases ever again! Well, at least Emme meant well. She simply didn't want Frankie to feel all alone, is all. Besides, although probably traumatized for life, he was no worse for wear.
Funny tail...e-r-r-r-r-rrrr, heh-heh..., I meant TALE, made even funnier because it is based on truth.
Best of luck in the voting booths...

But this TALE will ne told again in a few years LOL .Cheers for your support Christine😃

Hello :)
Well written flash fiction about Emme's little cat, she took out shopping. Well chosen words expressed vividly and I could almost see the cat jump out of the case. LOL Good job!

Hi Gypsy yes all true and I think my son in law got a bigger shock when Frankie was released after 2 hours of being carted in and out of shops and the car. Didnt meow or anything LOL however he is well loved and thriving with the attention of my 4 granddaughters Thanks for reading this Cheers
Comment from Bill Schott
That is a funny (funnier because it's true) story that does seem like a corker to tell when she's older. The cat was definitely not amused I suspect.

I suppose if I said it was lucky the cat didn't suffocate in Emme's suitcase, that would take the fun away, so I WON'T mention it. ;-)
Cute story, and as you say, and well worth recalling at future family events.
Good luck and best wishes, Ray

Thanks Ray yes No ill effects from a 2 hour lock up in the case thankfully, Frankie is a very well loved moggie and was a Xmas present from me to the grandchildren. This story has kept the family and friends amused. lol Cheers and thanks for your review.

Not fair. You can't use this format to tell cute cat stories with kids in them. Steals too many votes. Just kiddin'. This is a clever story to relay and it sounds like a personal experience which adds a bit of originality the presentation. So when your son-in-law took little Emme for a shop, the little girl couldn't resist taking the cat along in a suitcase. Now that's devotion. Love the moving case. Cute. But, you've held back the rag doll cat to just the right moment. A good entry here and I wish you well in the vote.

Hi mfowler yes all true my son in law couldnt believe that the cat stayed quiet for the whole time not even a meow in the car. Emee just thought she would take him and didnt mentioned to her Dad what was in the case. This story has had a lot of mileage and many laughs so though it appropriate for this prompt. Frankie with blue eyes is exactly like the image how good is that lol Thanks for reading and reviewing this and for your good wishes in the vote. Cheers

Hi there,
Ah, the little things that children get up to. Always keep a note of them. nothing like embarrassing them when they're older - they will love you for it. I take it the cat was silent for the whole two hours?
All the best for the contest.

Hi giraffmang GMG ,yes a very true story the cat didn't make one peep the whole time he was taken in and out of the car every shop. My son in law couldn't believe his eyes when he opened the case and out jumped Frankie who by the way is exactly like the one in the image. ( I actually got him for my grandchildren as a Xmas present a few years ago. This story has travelled far and we have had many a laugh . and yes Emme will revisit this when she is 21 lol Thanks for giving this a review and your good wishes much appreciated Cheers
