There is heartfelt truth in this - the pain inflicted goes far beyond the "oh, Baby, you hurt me so bad" level, and you poem addresses it in a very serious and deeply contemplated way.

I'm sorry you had to endure this realization - heck, I'm sorry people act this way. I hope your FINAl gift really was. I also hope you understand the power of forgiveness, is that it frees you to move on. I think you do - at least the poem says you do :-)

Hi Missy,
well, they do say opposites attract, now don't they? But I guess it's not supposed to have this much polarity involved... yes, this much could only end one way and the sooner the better in my books.

Trust is the cornerstone in any relationship... whether that be romantically, professional, causal, or any other way... without it, you have nothing...empty words within empty intentions!

So while this poem seems to be of plain speaking construction... there is an echoing tone that resonates with integrity... for anyone who can forgive an-others short-comings demonstrates a strength and selfless act... but yes, also the perfect tool to be able to allow a clean break... if one harbours a hurt or a grudge it can only fester and keep that person in a relationship with some one they wish to have none with... no, to forgive is to set the heart free.

Missy, a wonderful mirrored poem and a beautifully presented work... I'm just so blessed that love and trust live in my life.
