Very simple and to the point - needs to be to say anything meaningful in 8 syllables!
By just having the bare basics, you open the poem up to many questions - where did faith come from? Why did it come to you? Why did it stay, when for others it didn't.

This piece truly hit home with your word selection. It's a rather simple format naturally, but word choice here is the key that creates that emotional reaction in the reader and you accomplished that. Your subject of choice and the use of the verb "entered" along with "stayed" implies a rather deep message, and personal message. Well done.
