Mine Uno! Good morning. Thank you for reading and for the six stars. You bring sunlight to my life!
Had a bad night last night. My Gerd shot up stomach acid into my mouth and I woke up in pain. That acid hurts so terribly. Took me an hour of acute suffering before I could go back to sleep and then my sleep was fitfull, afraid it would happen again. So, this morn I am stacked tired upon tired.
Penny came over yesterday evening and brought me some cherry Dr. Pepper cause I had told her I had been out for two weeks. She also brought my Foxy for a visit which makes me very happy. Since she didn't get back together with her other ex, Margaret, who visited her recently, she is being really nice to me . . . but still runs her mouth sometimes and won't shut up. But, she is better than she was, overall.
You get your rest and drive safely down to Florida. Take good care of that granddaughter. I'm sure that you are important to her; probably add some balance to her life.

I am so sorry you had such a bad night...I know how bad that can hurt...you should call me when you can't sleep...I am always here for you Dos...so glad Penny came over with some cherry Dr, Pepper...I know she still loves you...I will drive carefully...and take care of my granddaughter...she is an angel...now call when you can't sleep...I am awake late a lot of times...will talk at ya soon...love ya Dos...always a friend...xxoo

mkflood: and, thank you so much for letting me borrow it! I have no talent for drawing pictures with paints/charcoal/water colors/crayons, although I have tried. Something in me wants to draw, but I'm better positioned to paint with words, apparently. livelyinda

Excellent artwork that complements your poem perfectly. You ask us to look at the children, grandchildren and great-. The parents should teach them so much to live in this world. Mainly compassion and no wars.

Our children our our future and future generations are going to have a lot to tackle. The key to carrying on as you state in the third stanza, compassion and love. And teaching that is up to us. The future could be bright if it is in bright hands. Excellent poem!
