The art work is very telling for these words written.
Why kill one another when we can share with one another
within our world. Does killing someone the right thing to do?

Your words say it all.
I feel totally inadequate to review others.
My father was n the army and the pain seen and felt cannot be forgotten.

The reality of life, love and war succinctly summed up here in this color-coded 5-7-5 Love Poem - the cost of war in terms of our human lives and loves - a pic that speaks volumes

This was an excellent written poem...
Perfect for any day or competition, but especially appropriate for Memorial Day...
The story was poignant and the picture brings a tearful display to the reader.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful display of emotions in a poem...
Best wishes with the great contender in the contest.

And that is 3,391 too many coalition deaths. In 17 short syllables you paint a picture of truth for too many people to have realistically experienced. Well done.

These few words tells the sad story of what happens to a lot or relationships when one goes to war. Death takes the brave soldiers from home forever.
I think the patriotic red white and blue print color is a great idea.
Good luck and keep writing

The colour combination of your lines adds a nice dimension to a poem already adorned by a suitable war picture of the 'dead soldier' from the poem. You use the opening lines to establish the longing of the home bound girl and the final line switches the perspective to both the loss of a sweetheart and the patriotism about death in war that is somehow a compensation for grief. Enjoyable, original poem. Best of luck.

I would love to see our troops brought home , but not before their goal is met. If they were to leave now, our people would have died in vain. Much like Iraq today. Hope you win the contest.
