Oh boy, you are a brave woman to let anyone near your face with a needle!
I don't think I could manage the eyeliner tattoo!

A syllable-perfect 5-7-5.
I was hesitant to acknowledge the humor, just in case the s.o.b. really did fondle your cheeks.

To be honest, I didn't realize permanent make-up was tattoo in disguise, or I would have bowed out. He did massage the cheeks on my face to get the collagen moving.

Maybe the doctor wanted just to check his work. LOL. Can't blame a perfectionist, if that's what he was? You always have an interesting twist to these short ones. A fun read. Les

Thanks, Lex. Too bad the cheeks were on my face as he moved the juvederm around. He was cute for his age, but his wife worked there as a receptionist. She wasn't as cute as me! LOL

'He was cute,' you said. So, maybe his wife was keeping a close watch on him. I see Modesty isn't one your traits. :))

Getting your cheeks massaged, fondled, and pinched after an injection sounds like a fun procedure.,takes your mind off the prick, huh? LOL
Enjoyed your senryu, Shari.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)

That's hilarious and would make a great senryu. Write it up and post it as a reply to mine.

G'day Shari. I almost passed out with this one. Even when I walk into a dr's clinic I faint when I smell that stuff they put on your skin before that shiny silver spear goes in. Cheers Fez

Fainting is good. You'll be asleep. I can still see bruise spots where the needle went in.

Your poem captures a subject that is popular in today's world. I can't imagine having it done, I am a baby when it comes to pain. Excellent poetic form that also has humour.

You and my hubby. But my pain was seeing all the wrinkles when I looked in the mirror!

Not enough pleasure to follow the pain for me, Shari. I probably won't ever have to have my cheeks done. Always had full round face; in fact, not sure if I ever even had the mumps because my mom said she couldn't tell. lol

That's funny, BG. Yes, round faces don't show the age like an oval shape does. Same for the plump figures which stay clear of age spots and those small warts. Sigh...

Ha, ha, Ok wasn't exactly sure what to expect from you with this title, but it wasn't this. This is really funny and very witty. You really have a very keen eye observing the world around you, which you twist into a deeper truth than we want to admit. Good stuff there, Spitfire.

Thanks, husky. Not observing, but participating now as I try to iron all my lines and wrinkles. Sigh...

Hi, Shari. You're a braver one than I, if you've had tattooing done--anywhere. Your eye liner and eyebrows? Wow. I barely have any eyebrows left. LOL
Great humor in your post. Cheeks or cheeks plus fondle make for a pervy picture. :)e

Guess it doesn't bother others. I had sparse eyebrows for a long time. I love waking up and looking good without make-up. It's worth the pain.

Nothing bothered me either. Remember, I'm not the norm FS reviewer and to me pervy is a good thing. LOL

I know that from your fantasy novel about those nasty beasts. :-)

Ahh, yes my nasty beasties. LOL

LOL - I never thought of the massaging afterwards as fondling. Maybe next time you should go for some butt injections. So, do you resemble that gal in the image, hee hee. She looks like she's only 20. Hugs, Lou

Isn't that ridiculous posting such a beauty getting injections! I'm going to try to get my lashes back now. The beeswax didn't work. My friend told me the treatment can change your eye color!
    Scary. We'll see.
reply by Louise Michelle on 17-Apr-2015
I stopped using beeswax ages ago because it was too thick. I've been using Diva Stuff Eyelash Conditioner which you can get on Amazon. I don't know if it grows new lashes, but it certainly conditions the ones you have.

Thanks for sharing,
Maureen

I went through the pain twice! I thought a touch-up would be just that, but she did the whole thing over again. Ugh! But it looks great.
