VEry Nice. As a belliver I loved it! Showing how fallen a person can be yet lo0ved and forgiven. Should be a little better structure. Capitals punction.

Simple, heartfelt and eloquent about His comfort. My favorite stanza and a good reminder for all of us!
no longer torn by worldly needs
nor taunted by its jeers
that small, still voice of Yours
is all I need to hear

Very nicely done! I think you aced this contest with this entry. Your flow of words, and heart pouring out made for a nice combination in this piece. Good luck!

This is a beautiful spiritual poem. It certainly describes a strong faith in our Savior. The seventh stanza is my favorite, it says it all. Good luck in the contest. Bill

Beautiful and touching poem inspired in the Psalms, my favorites. My two favorite lines are these ones "then You called me by my name
though I'd never seen Your face...Oh, so beautiful.

Jan, you did a wonderful job on this poem for
the faith poetry contest. It just speaks from
the heart of a need for God and gratitude for
His mercy.

hey, jude. So good to see you again. Thank you so much for this exceptional rating. I've been doing so much technical writing the last 6 months I was beginning to think I had lost my creative touch. love, jan

This was beautiful and meaningful.
It was a great tribute to the mercy of God, the total weakness of humanity and the simple reward of surrendering to Grace.
Your rhyming was good and assisted the flow of the narrative so well.
Keep up the good work.

when Your hand reached down to mine
I looked straight into heaven's eyes .. so, so beautifully expressed. I know exactly what you mean.
Hello Rdfrd,
Such childlike trust and raith in these lines.
A touching poem of hope and thanksgiving.
Hope you win.
Until next time,
Sonali :)

I enjoyed reading your Faith contest entry. There's a praise song by the same name and it always brings tears. It's my youngest son, he's 21 and my favorite praise song. Good luck with the contest.
