The guy is a hot but the background is a bit harsh. Maybe a softer background might work better.

Another solution is to get the novel on your e-reader. Then no one will be the wiser if you're reading a trashy romance. Love the artwork for this. Some of those novels have become so mainstream, I doubt that there's any need to hide them any more. What thoughts might arise in the reader's mind when reading the latest erotic best-seller.
