How cute is that! Very clever. I saw the prompt, and thought about it, but could never have come up with something so clever. Make a pretty funny "mind picture". Great!

You have talent, I find limericks challenging. Your last line about the armadillo in the pussy willow is so wonderful and unique. I can see this critter in the pussy willows. Excellent poetic form, best wishes for the contest.

Haha..very cute little limerick. I like that you kept true to the form of being a little naughty with the double entendre in the last line! Best of luck!

Thank you - glad you at least caught the naughtiness, which seems to have slipped right by a fair proportion of reviewers.

This is a cute and humorous animal limerick for the prompt. The limerick is one form that I can never come do right - yours is perfect.

Hah! It's damn fun and still, fortunately, possessing your intelligent, tasteful style. Excellent imagination, Steve! It'll give a giggle and more.

Animal Limerick "Southern Comfort" Well, I found this an excellent limerick you have created here. I have read a lot of limericks and still do I find ones that I've never heard before. Well done.

You are welcome, Steve.

It was very humorous. However, very boring. And on the other side of the same token, the first and second part of your poem show contrast and is really out of context. For, you ask the Armadillo what he would use for a pillow, he talks about eating the Pussy Willow? Well, I guess the sarcasm of the Armadillo constantly thinking of food? I don't know. Anyway, good poem. And good luck in the contest. Keep writing.

And thanks again. Two boring poems in a row? Perhaps if you read it more carefully - no mention of eating here that I can see...

I love a limerick. This was close enough to the edge but far enough away to keep it on the up and up. Great and unique animl to choose. Fun read. Good luck inthe contest.

Spring is definitely on the way here - no armadillos in sight though...
