The Beautiful Truth about the son of God because it is written and for those who lack the intellect to read and study the word for themselves are not very wise! God created all things on this earth, and everything on this earth belongs to him! Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." That is the word and for those who don't believe it are fools! According to scripture it is also written that Jesus is coming back to judge the living and the dead, when every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He Is!!! Oh this poem lifted me spiritually! I just want to thank you Lord!! I praise your holy name!! I truly enjoyed it and thanks for such an encouraging and inspirational indite! May God bless!

You're writing about a conflict here which is more in the minds of Christians. I don't believe anyone hates Jesus. Just because someone is an atheist doesn't mean he/she hates Jesus. What they hate is someone thinking they're right and wanting to convert the other. Christians must respect atheists and other religions, some don't even have one singular God to worship. In a democracy as the Founding Fathers wanted to protect all religions as well protecting society from them. As long as you pay your taxes, worship whatever you want, or don't. Thanks for sharing. Excellent artwork by Angelheart that complements your poem well. You start writing about people that hate God and Jesus. Then you tell about your own faith. A worthy entry for this contest. Best wishes for it.

Yes, indeed. I received Jesus as my personal savior at the age of 6 1/2 a month before my birthday. I also loved the rhyming with this. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful testimony! Yes, Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. And true, so many either hate Him or ignore Him. Yet thank God for prayer! If we pray according to His will...!
This is an impeccably written poem and testimony. Every line is well-crafted; MUCH thought and heart went into this!

Hi, S.M.,
Nicely written poem of dedication of faith, as well as the artwork, complimentary. Great presentation.
In keeping with the rest of your poems rhythm, you might consider writing these two lines thus....
You say that I am stupid,
I am foolish to believe.
Good luck in the contest.
Cheers & Blessings

Goodness.
It is not seem very loving to threaten people with burning in hell if they do not see religion exactly as you do.
Don't you think a more effective conversion tool would to be to write about hoe much joy and hope your faith brings you instead of threatening hell and damnation to those who do not yet see things your way?

I like the rhyme of hated/created
good use of enjambment to create flow of thought from line to line
good proximate rhyme in time/mine
I am a Christian and empathize with your frustration that some people seem to hate Christianity, but I can't agree with your conclusion. I think one thing that turns people off from Christianity is having Christians tell them they're going to burn in Hell if they don't share their beliefs.
