Love is meant to blossom and flow freely between people, but sadly, others feel they know best and they push and shove until they destroy what could have been. They were different but that shouldn't have made a difference..it didn't to them but to others.

This is a very beautiful and very well written poem of two soul mates separated by circumstance and yet destined to reunite in some other time/dimension. Skilfully written with natural rhymes that glide through the verses. Well done.

As I've often said, when it comes to poetry, I wouldn't know a sonnet from sorbet. But every once in a while when I can find the time, I take a look on the other side and enjoy a few versed. And today, I'm glad I did. A heartbreaker that I won't soon forget.

Truth, it can be hard to love, be love back and obstacle won't let this love happen freely. And this situation can endure for many years.
I have a story that I plan to write based in real facts that will be about a situation like that.

Nicole, please forgive me for just getting back to you to thank you for this stellar rating, but I've been so busy I haven't been on Fanstory everyday. Last month, a local newspaper ran an ad looking for writers. I sent an email to the editor, providing him with the link of my paying writing site - Helium.com - on it. I asked him to look at some of my work to determine whether I could write for his paper. Right away, he gave me an assignment. I wrote a very political piece. He not only accepted it, but he also placed it on the front page with my name on it. Last night, I covered the mayor's state of the city speech for the newspaper. I sat with real journalists for the big newspapers in the media section. It was one of the most thrilling times that I've had in a while. I hope everything is going well in your life, too. I too have not been on FS for weeks. I had good intentions of continuing to write, but the degree course is very demanding.

This brings to mind my readings on the destiny of souls--that we will meet up with the same people in other lifetimes. Relationship may differ. I had one psychic tell me I was married to my son back in 1700 but we disagreed on political issues. We still do in this lifetime. LOL
So you probably in touch with your friend's soul. A true friend is all one needs.

I'm afraid I don't conform to the idea of impossible love, having grasped it with both hands when my late husband and I met. I've just done it again by falling in love with an American who loves me back with a passion I couldn't imagine - especially at my age! Impossible love can also be exciting, and sets goals to fuel your very existence. Never say good bye...
