Hi, Treishcel,
This beautiful lyrical, technically perfect, poem gives us an interlude of peace and quiet in a busy city's streets using figurative language and imagery.

Another well written and presented poem.
The Octogram also maked use of repeated text
which adds to the effectiveness of the poem.
A good subject choice and cleverly composed.

Your knowledge of various forms of poetry is astounding. I just write from instinct and know how the words affect my emotions. Sometimes I miss the mark but your arrow always hits the mark. I especially liked these lines:
"....With water and flowers full view,
And hues of Autumn there too,
The wonderful colors eclipse,
Making a splash."
Well done.

Thank you Rod. This one was hard to write as rhyming splash wasn't easy. I also had to figure out way to work it in as the repeating line. I finally came up with splashing drops, colors making a splash, and tossing a coin in. Then , after posting, I saw that the smaller picture doesnt even show the splash, like a larger one does. So, I was disappointed with the result. I'm glad you liked it.

Excellent photo, you seem to go around a bit. And the Octogram completely according to the rules. It does indeed look very idyllic.

A well-penned octogram to complement a lovely illustration;
Nice alliteration incorporated into a writing of the heart influenced by nature's finest.
Excellent!
