I liked the connection you made with the Eagle. One could have simply put "bird," but you chose Eagle and I think that really portrays a theme of pride, majesty, and the American Dream. Great message. However, it does not meet the guidelines for the 5-7-5 contest, and that is why I gave a lower rating. But I believe this could be condensed and make a great 5-7-5 poem!

It's very well said and very well written. But it's not a 5-7-5 poem. But I do belivev we should all reach as far as we can to make our goals in live. well done..
