This poem is most enjoyable and inspirational. I enjoyed reading your sweet prayer of love from the Lord who uses every grain of wheat and every speck of dust to advantage. Giddy

You capture the beauty of harvesting, and how the land is worked is by togetherness. A community is what makes it happen. The line thats says it all: "The time to sow, the time to reap, in time, life's work is done." Great job! Les

I enjoyed it very much! It is disheartening though when you keep sharing the love of God with people and they keep rejecting it, especially family members. But I keep on telling them anyway and one day will be the harvest!
Hopefully your poem will encourage others to more diligently spread the Word. Very good poem for the contest. Blessings, LaVonne

Thank you LaVonne, yes the greatest sorrow is the disinterest in His Word, by which we will be judged. But when we have done all we can, and must, then we stand as individuals before His throne. Obedience is the key. Blessings back to you, have a great weekend. Carolyn

An excellent poem. The rhyming couplets can give the poem a lilting tone, but it doesn't quite get there. As I often say when I teach religion on the college level, God doesn't play favorites. You illustrate that well here. I like your emphasis on Grace. You illustrate well that the only way to have faith in God's grace is to show it to others and not hoard it.

Great word choices to reinforce the metaphor of how our lives are God's harvest: planted with love, given rain to bloom and multiply. Good transition from the earthly life to that above. Well done, Carolyn. Good luck in the contest.
