I love the picture. A rose is always a symbol of Love. The first meeting always takes on important part of keeping the love going. Great work.

This is great. I forgot that you were avoiding particular words and phrasing and got lost in the remembrance, as I'm sure the lover would have, too. Great last line. This scans just perfectly. This is sweetly evocative and picturesque, with such clear imagery. And it's very romantic. Just an excellent job.

What a beautiful, gut wrenching, loving ode to the the heart of love. I am ashamed to say I had to read it twice before the "Aha" moment hit....but when it did...it took my heath away. Excellent job.

Lovely poem about a budding love remembered fondly. It's always nice to be able to look back on such moments and realize how far we've come, hm? Just a thought on my end, but the line "Then whisked me off my feet to fantasy land" seemed a bit cumbersome to me. Maybe just say 'off to fantasy land' and omit 'my feet'? I dunno. Might just be me; figured I'd give it a mention. Otherwise, perfectly lovely poem.

Very much fun! A lovely memoir piece about encountering your love relationship. The last couple of lines also humorously depict the fact that guys frequently don't remember those special times in life. thanks for sharing and good luck! caroline
