A beautiful tribute to a Gran that loved you unconditionally. You can't ask for more than that from anyone. How lovely. I can tell the bond you shared was special and I'm sure you feel her aura wrapped around you when you bring out the porcelain doll. Well written and quite a nostalgic poem for you I'm sure. Hi Jaq - I had a tear or two for this one. My gran was much my rock in my life too. A fabulous poem technically - but for me the emotion and love within it was far greater than any stars I could give you.

You are going to make me cry. I had a similar strong woman as my grandmother whose "strengths were in the unseen realm". This is a beautiful tribute to a woman who I am sure amply deserves it!
