This reminds me of how lovely it is to take a walk in the moonlight with a canopy of stars watching you. Nice alliteration with the soft "s" sound. Although it's free verse, there's a nice pattern in your stanzas. Good luck in the contest.

A pretty poem telling a pretty story. Yes shades of night in our memory tells beautiful things. Your good word flow tells a super story about the shades of night. Very good writing and I enjoyed reading it very much.

I love the depth and scope of your poem, and all
the sensations and elements of sheer awe, wonder
and immmersion this night musing welled within you.
Imgery created is truly star studed and captivating
from phrase to phrawe, each deepening in connection
and sssimilation of both physical tranquility and
spacial tran quility.
Only suggestion I have, I would try using a
"midnight blue' background color for this poem,
integrating the spectacular art work chosen....that
is just me...no criticism of what yoo have and chose...
just ow it occured to me. Thanks for sharing...

hello my friend i have just had a scan and they found lots of gallstones so waiting to see what the next move will be my eyes are good as long as i take care and not do too much which is very hard at times my hobby being my writing Erick is going in for surgey on Tuesday he has poetry in i sure he will appreciate you stopping by how are you my friend take care regards jill

This was (is) beautiful. Stanza after stanza flowed so smoothly off the tongue. I've never been a poet guy, but writting like this makes me want to read more.
