Excellent ABC form and rhyming of words. You have a strong beat in this poem, almost like a song. Emotion comes through clear reaching the reader.

Your well-written, heart-wrenching poem describes two very different groups of people--polar opposites: those who live in need and poverty and those who are blind to them due to total self-absorption and greed. Spiritually, group 2 is much worse off!

in truth, I nearly four starred you for this, but i couldn't bring myself too, because it is a great write. the only problem i have with it is the first stanza. It does not read as smoothly as the rest, best Indie

We need to live in the dark for a while, to cling to and appreciate the light - sweet Mercy's rain. Excellent words, and the beautiful rainbow of hope was a good choice for the artwork.

You're right! In order to have the beauty of a rainbow, you need a little shower now and then. In order to appreciate love, you need to have a heart-break and a good cry every now and then as well!
