powerful statement is made within this short piece. All writing should leave some form of impact, and yours certainly has. The impact and meaning is in itself captivating. Well written, with a reality that threatens to jump off the page and drop kick you.

Thank you so much for such a 'picturesque' review. I appreciate what you have said and will always strive to write my best 'for Him'. Good night, Carolyn

I loved the last verse of the poem - asking God to give you armour of the armadillo and a marshmallow heart. Very original poem you have penned. It is comforting to know that there are people in this troubled world who ask God to keep them kind and loving. Excellently uplifting read.

I not only appreciate your wonderful review about the poem but more deeply so, the insightful comments regarding the content. What would we do without prayer. Best always, Carolyn

I like the poem for many reasons: topic, title, general word choice...The questions, requests and self-awareness, all wonderful.

Ah yes, an armadillo shell and a soft marshmallow heart is what you need to face a disturbing world in which the wrong easily becomes the norm just because it's popular...
Very nicely expressed with fine poetic tones.
Good show!

Another testament to your faith, Carolyn! Beautiful and humble. Prayer is our shield indeed and we in keeping with God's command, must pray for one another, always. God bless!
Love this. Hope all is well! Good night, my friend.

A great poem encouraging us to put on the armor of God. I liked when you referred that even with the armour on we are still open to piercings of persecution. But it is with our walk with God for He will be with us. I also loved your reference to wanting the outer shell much like an armadillo and the heart of a marshmallow. He will provide for His people. Nicely done.
